Learn about the artist

Growing up in rural Eden, New York, I’ve been blessed with a wonderful family that has always encouraged my artistic pursuits. Gravitating towards the intimate world of art from a young age, I found solace in fine details, and my interest in capturing the beauty of the visual realm has only increased over time.

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts and New Media, I have specialized in Drawing and Painting, a foundation that has equipped me with diverse experiences across various artistic mediums. My journey in academia at SUNY Fredonia has also allowed me to serve as a Teaching Assistant for an upper-level life drawing course, as well as for a course dedicated to drawing and painting. This role provided me with invaluable insights into the instructional process and the dynamics of student collaboration.

Moreover, I had the privilege of being selected for a cross-departmental project, where I collaborated with the student sciences to explore the intriguing properties of Blueschist rocks, supported by the Costello Grant. This endeavor not only deepened my understanding of interdisciplinary approaches within my field but also emphasized the significance of collaborative exploration in artistic research.

In addition to my academic experiences, I have further honed my teaching skills through participation in an online after-school program known as Rocket Club, along with offering private tutoring sessions.

Now, I’m exploring how I can share my expertise with others in taking on commissions, and newly stepping into live wedding paintings. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to share in such wonderful and precious moments, and delight others with this skill.
